This product was shipped to URM in the date range from end of May 2018-October 12th, 2018. This Lot Number/Production Code can be found on the bottom of the can.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recall was initiated after it was discovered via consumer feedback that the contents in the can are garbanzo beans and were mislabeled as white beans. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company 2018’s packaging processes.
